Angry Wrapping presents

Honest to god, what hell is this?

I’ve just spent the entire afternoon wrapping presents, and now the dining room is covered in bits of cellotape, shreds of wrapping paper and annoying shiney ribbons people do fancy bows with. I swear men weren’t designed to do this stuff, not one of my efforts met the gf's approval. It took me 20 mins to wrap a dvd, and I was being really careful, but the thing still looks like its been in a war zone. I’ve been told I’m not to wrap anything being sent to the gf's friends or family, as she doesn’t want them to think I’m “quite that retarded”.

Good news is it’s all done now, apart from one, which might need a bit of dremeling.

Abso-bloody-lutely mate. Gift bags rule, especially for awkward presents that have the brassneck to not be square or rectangular (like effin' bottles of Baileys for example).

Yeah, getting banned from wrapping certain presents is definitely a result.

Prewrapped stuff loses me brownie points with the gf though. And what with the Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Kyosho MP9e and Schumacher 2wd due early next year, I need all the brownie points I can get.

So I’m taking the Hugh Grant approach. By that I mean by being the loveable hopeless guy who’s trying his best to make good, rather than the getting arrested with a hooker bit, obviously.
