Default 1/8 Buggy Pic Thread

hey guys,

haven't seen a thread like this (if there is one please just delete this one of the mods haha) but i was hoping you guys would post some picks of your buggies as i'm trying to get an idea for a good layout and some new body paint idea... figured this would be a good way to figure it out is too look at what you guys have already done. Cheers

-Jim

In chronological order:
Losi 8ight conversion - no pics I'm afraid.
Hyper 9E

Hot Bodies D8E V1

Hot Bodies D8E V2

XB808 (most recent and most successful).

Unfortunately, I haven't got any pics of my XB808's bodyshell (and it's gone now ), but it was brilliant.

I'll have to see if I can find any...

Some nice conversions there - like the sleeving JonyNitro.

-Rcrcrus, I'd shorten the motor wires if I were you - less resistance, and less interference.

New body, nothing fancy but works

New chasis layout, it's still a BETA . Final version will use a carbon tube chasis

Welcome to the Forum Dom, did you shrink some Moto Cross tyres for your buggy. They're proper hard core aren't they ?

@ Dave the rave - looking really nice mate. I'll have your shell done soon, will be a bit brighter than that one

They are Nanda block tyres (these thing does get bashed too. :P )
Very cheap and work incredibly on grass, mud or what have you rubbish on a track though, very hard wearing too.

I've got a set of mini spikes on it for the track.
These are them if anyones interested?
