Phil - you're not going to get a considered answer from anyone. Bigred is sponsored to run the losi so he's not going to tell you anything other than losi (that does not mean that he's wrong, though...) I run a B4 but have never run anything else 2WD, so I'm no help either!
My advise is to get the car that you like the look of, as any modern car is capable these days, it's all down to personal choice.

Phil, I'm pretty new too, but I think you're asking the 64 mill question.

Basically from my experience so far, get a B4 or the Losi xxx and you cant fall off! Both are quality and will improve with you for a long time. There are others, but spares and hop ups etc seem way easier to get hold of for these 2.

Enjoy.

I love the look of the RB5 (whoe doesn't) but as the quote says..parts will be cheeper... i.e. when you can get them. If you're new to this you will break things so go for something easy to work on, easy to get parts for and not too quirky. XXX-CR or B4 then!
