i took the car out today for the first time and it was running great until i use the brakes it started making a funny noise when i put the brakes on fast or slow its all meshed right as it is smooth as. plz be nice i just wanted to know what it was plz

ok it sounds like the belt may be slipping check your belt tension, don't ask me how to do it i don't no on that car,

The drive belt is probably loose and needs to be tensioned. IIRC it's the same system as on the XXX-S Touring Car, you need adjust the wheel on the "long moving metal bit" near the spur gear so it adds tension onto the belt (tighten it up a bit at a time until it stops doing it). Sometimes it will do this anyway with heavy braking on a grippy surface.

thanks i will look on line and try and findout how to tight the belt , and how to do it thankyou mate.
i just did a test run down the street . it was very nice to drive this car
