I run the shocks at the rear all the time, I think it makes the car very safe. Which promotes confidence for me!
I also have about 130 grams of lead between the under tray and chassis, in the shape of a cross. |

although i havent run the cat for long, i have recently tried the rear shock conversion...... it wont be coming off the car in a hurry. totally locks the back of the car down and is better across the bumps as well. for me it has ment i can run a lot more front tyre to get the pivot back into the car so the balance feels very simlar but has more stability. definatly an improvement in my eyes

Niggs, did you swap wishbones and stuff, or simply put the shocks on the back and re-drill the wishbone?
I have a kit but haven't got around to trying it yet. Edit - Jono you speedy git! :P

i'd imagine they're drilling the wishbones at the back, cos if you flip them over you'll notice a pretty significant angle on the driveshafts (angling forward)

does swapping the wisbone over also shorten the wheelbase?

personally i have left the wishbones in the kit position (same as mcdc) and drilled new holes in the wishbone. if you flip the wishbones round it makes the driveshafts sweep forward to much and cause other issues in the handling. with the extra stability the shock mod offers i have been able to run the car in long wheel base as well. this makes it even better across the bumps so worth trying. will get some pics sorted for where i have drilled the wishbones to help
he aint gonna ask you dc you will only advise to wash it in the river ![]() ![]()
