Midweek racing
Am i right in saying that apart from Longbenton, there is nowhere to race tenth scale off road in the whole of the North East of England midweek. That is mental!!

Yeah Gaz for comps but not for club racing! Im gutted ive got nowhere to go. Makes me want to sell up tbh. If it werent for Worksop i think i might have thought about it.

It is, but the racing is the best imo in the country. The surface is excellent to race on and the organisation is second to none. Its a trek to get there but well worth it. I normally stay at a local Travel lodge. They are cheap as chips at the moment unless the rooms have sold out. Try it, you might like it!!

Do Worksop not run midweek? If that is where you prefer to race it might be best enquiring with them on what they put on midweek.
Unfortunately we can't replicate the hall/surface or bring their team who run things up here, we have what we have building wise through a lot of hard work and for now it's a case of like it or lump it I think. We tried to get weekday nights but it was impossible. Unsure what you mean by organisation.....but anyway I think JORCR members who get involved with running things try their best. Until JORCR came out of Oxclose & was promoted by the new committee, hardly anyone raced there on a Tuesday either. (mrs) turbo_brick
