Just been looking at the manual ....
First impressions a) it's a 3 gear transmission ![]() b) it's not as robustly designed as Fabs version c) it's going to be well over £200 when shipped with duty d) doubt many people will be running one in the UK / Europe so will struggle with set-up help (nothing new for us Kyosho fans) Like the idea but if it was me I'd be pestering Fabs for a place on his waiting list. I have my own ideas regarding a mid-motor RB5 ... think CR2 with Kyosho bits bolted on then your getting very close ![]() |

I just emailed them. I want one of these. The RB5 got a lot of rear traction already and I don't think the position of the motor will affect the performance that much. Mr Pink on this forum has got his home made version that way and it runs just beautifully on both gravel and grass/turf.
I let you know how it goes if anyone is interested ![]() ![]() |

Speak to Fabs .... his version is apparently VERY good on european style tracks ... I've spoken to a driver of note who has run it and he rates it very highly!!!

The losi has the most rear traction of all 2wd cars, and in mid mount configuration, it is a handful to drive on all but the highest traction tracks. Even with alot of weight added towards the rear of the car! you NEED a 4 gear transmission.....period! |
