hey guys,
ok just figured i'd ask and see if anybody has tried to do this? can you remove paint from an old shell? if so how? if not, any reason? Cheers, -Jim |

I used brake cleaner for removing paint and rubbing with paper towels (can be also cloth) but you need loads and takes quite a lot time. If it's shell that is still available then new one is way to go.

yep, brake fluid worked well for me. pour some in n rub it around then let it sit for 20 mins then rub off with paper towel. make sure to wash thoroughly afterwards before painting.

I used some nitro fuel on an old YZ10 shell and it came up really well.
