I think its 5mm and 1500g, as for set-up, I think I have a set-up sheet around somewhere, will have a look for you.

The minimum weight, including personal transponders but not handout transponders:

4WD 6-cell/LiPo = 1500g, 4WD 5-cell = 1425g, 4WD 4-cell = 1350g, Front wheel drive/2WD = 1400g.

For set-ups, check the teamassociated.com website, go through the kits to the TC5 section and there's a link there. Otherwise, there's lots been said at aeforums.com.

HTH.

cheers for the info lads. is this setup for indoor? low or high grip track

after few tweeks last saturday the setups very similar, differnce is the hex spacing i got 2mm rear, 1mm rear, thicker shock oil. ive just set the car up to these settings hopfully it go well next club night cheers

i have to admit the TC5 is a great car, alot of people dislike it saying they forever need tweeking. actually alot easyier to drive then my tamiya tb evoultion on low grip surfaces. love to try out a xray and a mi4 see if they are actually a better car as most people make them out to be. just the prices put me off slighty atm

just like to add the TC5 is a strong car, i just wish i could keep in a servo that dosnt break,3 rounds i raced the car, i actually gone through 3 servos (cheap acoms and 2x cheap std. futaba) and there not even crashes i broke them. Its when i just clip the corner on full lock it seems to damage the teeth. Is it too much ATV on the transmitter? as i noticed it was actually touching the hubs

The set-up I posted was used indoor, on a track consisting of mainly Prima Duo (the fluffy stuff) and Prima GT. TC5's are a good car, I was having problems with mine for a while, it would change the way it handled mid-way through a race, but it wasn't tweaked when it came off the track Thankfully now, it does seem a bit more consistent in its handling

yeah same issue was with mine. the car would struggle for rear grip though the race and about 4th minute the car gets it act together and drives like i want it too. i just dremel'ed the top deck as i herd gives more flex and extra grip. these rubber tyres are a pain lol. using foams was alot easyier because there was plently of componds to choice from
