After building and running the amazing X-factory X6 I decided to screw things up by building my own version of a mid engined 2wd buggy .....
take a look ...... ![]() ![]() Started off with a cheap JConcepts BJ4 off ebay, chopped the front end off and replaced it with the the associated GT2 bulkhead , which bolts straight to a flat chassis and mounted up a b4 front end to it along with the losi shocks off my now sold X6. Time to go race ..... |

Nope not finished at all Matty, these are a couple of pics of the first chassis, built up to work out if it had any potential at all before I go and spend good money on some nice carbon fibre ... and I'm glad to say it does
![]() This version was a little lacking in rear traction due to the motor being quite far forward, and not enough weight at the back even with lots of lead added, very good on carpet, not so good on drift ![]() Got lots of ideas for it tho, Mk2 version on its way ..... |
