Hi Guys
What is the best and most reliable 5.5 or 6.5 out there. Have seen the Novak Ballistics, they are bloody quick but expensive What are the Lrp x12 vectors like, have read alot about them and seem to have a few problems What do you people run in your 1/10th Buggys ![]() Thanks in advance Cheers Chris B |

I recently bought a second hand LRP X12. It runs fine, but I am trying to work out how you can protect it from water ingress in poor weather conditions as, unlike most of its competitors, the motor is not a sealed can design. So that raises a question mark in my mind as to how appropriate they are for our intemperate climate. I did hear of someone who covered the holes with blue tack only to have it melt and run through the holes ruining the motor.
Any thoughts anyone? Cheers Tony |

I run a second hand LRP X12 , albeit indoors .
Never had any issues with it and its more than quick enough (6.5) Some of the guys at the club run the novak r motors with no issues and are very very quick. |

From what I've seen, the LRP's are about the same price as the novaks. A number of manufacturers sell motors for cheaper than those brands and have good reputations amongst people on here, Speed passion stuff seems to be getting good feedback currently, as is a little cheaper I think.
In my experience though the Novaks are pretty much bullet proof and quick! +1 for Novak
