Question Club Control Tyres

Hi, what are the control tyres at your club?

I wanted to come see/visit your track.

I have schumacher mini pins on my B44 & B4.

schumacher minispike are the tyre of choice. Yellow for dry, and greens for wet. It is very grippy in the dry so you won;t need brand new tyres or you may grip roll!

Hi, thanks for fast reply.

However is it OK if I use schumacher minipins and not minispikes for your races?

or is it only minispikes allowed?

probably best if one of the club officials confirms that. You may find that mini-pins don't last long on the track anyway and will probably give you uncontrollable bite.

If you are just popping down as a one-off for some fun then they will probably be ok, but you may find they are very bald by the end of the racing!

Super maybe one of the officials will confirm here.

I've got nowhere else to race those tyres at the moment, so might as well use them up.

Looking forward to comming to your track as soon as I can get a free sunday

You can run whatever tyres you like.

We only specify a control tyre for our winter series (which is the Schumacher minispike in green or yellow compound - for the rear axle - free choice on the front).

I hope you enjoy the track.
