We won't be running a winter series as I don't think we can fit it in to the calendar with the other venues like Worksop and Bury , as well as the schools use of both halls!!

But we are going to try and run two GP events this year if we can fit them in.
We'll definitely run the one GP like we have been for the last few years.

Also a couple of 'Frozen Fingers' events are on the cards, as now we've got rid of the grass we can run pretty much all year round.

Keep an eye on www.srcc.co.uk for more details of future events and we'll also post here as soon as we have something concrete.

It's looking more likely that we will be exclusively outdoors all winter, due to issues with the school hall we usually use.

So far we are awating a decision from the school govenors which will determine how the winter season will proceed.

Before the school threw a spanner in the works it was planned that we would run a few outdoor "frozen fingers" meetings on weeks when the hall was unavailable.

We will endevour to provide indoor racing for winter, maybe at a different venue or maybe a reduced calendar. If all goes in our favour at the govenors meeting then the indoor season might run as normal.

At the moment its a case of watch this space.

Hello there, im planning (if youll heave me) to be a recurring member.
I was just wondering what classes are likely to be running this sunday and what are the regulations (motors etc) for such classes.
Also though I am not currently a BRCA member (Though have been for a few years previously) would it be possible for me to compete this sunday providing i bring my own equipment and vehicle.

Sorry and one more...you are holding your events at Formby high school yes?

Matt

http://www.srcc.co.uk/index.php?pid=8

our calendar, 1/10th 2wd or 4wd or 1/10th truck electric cars is what 90%(ish) of people run, there are some 1/18th cars but not many,
You can run 3 meetings without a brca membership then you must join them for insurance and other reasons.
NO 1/8th cars at all NO nitro at all either.
any motors can be run and any lipos can be run but must be hard cased.
