Default sensorless motor compatibility with a sensored combo?

Please can someone advise whether I am able to use sensorless brushless motors with my esc.

I currently have a losi 6.5T sensored motor esc combo in my B4, but would like to buy an alternative cheap second hand motor (partly because I have a motor bearing problem that I have yet to fix).

Also, what differences will I notice if any

I am not racing just using it for fun.

Many thanks for your advice.

I don't think sensorless motors work with sensored speedos, but the other way around they do generally, ie sensored motors without the cables run in sensorless mode with sensorless speedos. When I first got my sensored esc/motor and was new to things I got the motor and the sensor cable was missing so I just wired it up without and all it did was make the speedo hot, the motor didn't even turn.

You'd probably be better off sorting the losi motor out, they are a great little motor those. If it's a seized bearing you can open it up and swap the bearing easily enough.
