Shells looking great too, looks like you can get the back a bit lower than that though

i tried to put as low as possible, but the shell hits the thumbscrews at the batterystrap, i have to figure out a new way to strap the battery to get it lower, any suggestions?

Couple of suggestions...
1) Looks like you have straight wired corrally's, re-make them up as right angles. 2) Go back to the CSK screws on the outer battery strap fixings. I understand the thumbscrews make removing the battery easier, but to be honest, unless you have a particular reason for it (like needing to charge in a pouch at your club), you could just leave the lipo in the car permanantly.

yea we do have to use a lipo bag when charging, but there arent really any good argument for me using thumbscrews, i use the same time using my hex driver and a regular CSK screw, so ill switch back, i didnt think of the hight of the shell before i got replies on this thread, but i tried it right now, and the car looks much more nice with the shell lower than i had on my pics, i`ll post some new pics when i have done this. i have new deans in order, so i was planing to remake the corally plugs ![]() thanks for the replies

I'd leave them on Corally's...better power handling than deans.
If you forced to use a pouch then the only thing I'd be careful of is how much you tighten/loosen the fixings into the chassis. IMO it's a bit of a weakness with the design that the battery fixings are running into plastic, since the thread will slowly wear out as you take the battery and screws in/out, though it's a good deep thread so hopefully that'll take a while! What we could do with is a shell that allows for hieght in that area so that the thumbscrew option would work properly...without looking ugly! Or maybe the X6^3 could move the fixing points inward a little...though I'm going to take an educated guess that the cubed is way off in the future yet!!!
