Default schumacher Cat sx battery?????

Hi there

Thinking of some different lipos.
Can i run the hump/ridged lipos or do they have to be flat like Trakpower.
What lipos would you guys recommed?????? (thinking or the Intellent lipo)

I have the GP4300 series lipo batteries in my cat, mounted upside/down.
(corally pluggs both sides)

2mm clearence to the mid belt.

cells with lugs on will be a real squeeze under the belt, unless you get the new stiff chassis that has locating slots for the lugs.
any of the brca legal stick packs with a flat bottom should fit fine. which one you get depends on your budget and how much punch you want.

Avoid the lipos with the humps, it causes a headache, unless you have the new stiffer chassis.

I have the intelect, and I wish I had bought something else. I have to run them upside down and thus have strange wiring.

I run the Vampire racing Lipo's which have location bumps on using the NiMh CAT SX chassis. All I had to do was to dremel a small part out at the front to allow the front locator to locate. You do need the Lipo servo mounts, Lipo belt roller and lipo battery strap to do this to a NiMh CAT.
