Default Ansmann Sirius 12 - any good?

Yes, I know it's only £25 so I shouldn't expect a lot but is it worth shelling out for to put in my Madrat, or should I just get another Tamiya TEU 101BK? The issue I have with the TEU is that it's only rated down to a 23 or 27 turn depending on who you speak to so I can't run the unused 18T motor I've found in my spares box. Brushless and lipo is not an option with this car, its a minimal budget runner.

If its the one thats in the Royal Flash its not that bad, but then again its not great either. They don't seem to blow up much.
Theres also the stupid cheap Etroniks Probe, and of course Mtroniks budget range, some of which manage to keep the magic smoke in for at least a few battery packs........

The sirus 12t is a value for money e.s.c. Handles down to a 12t turn and is much better than the older range of mtroniks speedos

The sirius 12t IS an MTRONICS ESC, right ?

I highly regard MTRONICS

Alternatively, you can get something VERY high end like Novak Cyclone, GT7 or GTX(still sold in some places at 90£) on ebay for 25£ or less! Have a look
