Default The BRCA

The BRCA, our governing body, I think they do a great job!!!!
And I have raced in many different countries and I think the 10th off road section is the best run section in the world!!!!!

BUT, did you know, the BRCA have "ZERO" paid people????
They all donate their time FOC for us to race!!!!!
They do it because the want to be part of this sport/hobby!!!!

I think they all deserve our appreciation

Just thought I would share this info...........

Here here Dave - They do an awesome job and don't get half the appreciation they deserve. We'd not have anything like as good a race calendar without these warriors!

Top job they do for us all...not just the offroaders! Just think how many classes there are.

Amen,

Committee members may not always please the masses but 99% of us do love the hobby and do want the best for all the racers involved

The 10th offroad section as a whole certainly is an inspiration to me as a relative newbie to being chairman of a section, from the way that you all marshall so damned well!! to the way that your committee organise nationals/regionals and the like so well.

As many of you know, some years back, I was a regional BRCA rep for the Mid-South and PRO for the 1/10th section for a while......
The work involved, the organisation and some of the decisions that have to be made is far more difficult that people see, hear off or even believe.....
Personally and especially being away from the sport for some 8 years, I have seen a massive improvement by the BRCA officials in the way that Nationals are conducted and run ...... friendly but with the rules there for everyone, it's a credit to you all involved along with good club organisers that must not be forgotten....
It would be impossible to list all the names involved in the BRCA sections so regards to all involved and you know who you are.....many thanks

Now that I have given you all these compliments, can I have an extra lap on my qualifying please!! - if only eh he he he

Again i can only echo everyone elses opinions on here, these guys are the unsung hero's, and it never stops for some of them, some of the commitee have 2 or more roles whether it be within a brca section, then the EB and then Efra. I personally could not commit that much time to anything so a big hats off to those in the Brca. Without you we wouldn't be so dominant at the Euros
