What's a good voltage to leave lipo cells at if they won't be used for a while? Will 4v be ok or is that too high?

Google seems to suggest that 3.80v-3.90v per cell is about right.
That should see you at about 50% charged. Google for LiPo storage voltage and you'll find loads of stuff fella.

3.7 / 3.8v seems to be the consensus (40 to 50% charge)
In addition to that, lowering temperature for storage helps durability. So fridge is also good (but not to the taste of the wife )

Lipo can handle slow charge/discharge without damage can't they? Just askig as I have used the storage option, and it is very slow as it is discharging them to 3.80v at @0.5A?
