hi everybody,1st of all great website/forum jimmy.
i've only been racing 4wd off-road for about 10 months.i'd love to have a go at a national event later in the year,but am unsure of how good you have to be to compete? i have an f4 license grade for this year. do f1 and f2 drivers have prority for entries? how does it work? i have done a couple of meetings this year and have out qualified and beatin f2+f3 drivers. any help and advice is more than welcome,many thanks. |

By the sound of it you are more then capable to race at a national, I currently have a F5 grade, and I have applied for 4 nationals this year! If you intend of racing you can find an entry form here http://www.onetenthoffroad.co.uk/. Regarding the F grades the higher your grade the more likely you are of getting a placement at the event, however racers from all grades do race at these events!

There is a control tyre in use at each national; this gives all racers an equal chance of doing well. The tyre you can use are listed on the form. However it is an open choice for front tyres!
