Mark, the simple answer is that there is no answer yet. We are awaiting a decision from the all knowing one.

It doesn't matter until April anyway.

I would assume that the companies would have to re-homologate the motor due to a new stack, hence different design. Just like you would have to do for a brushed unit.

Mark, as mentioned several times, brushless motors legal for BRCA 1/10h off road Sanctioned events (including Regionals) are listed on the BRCA website > Electric Board > Brushless motors homologation list.

I don't see how it could be any simpler. If you have questions about the 1/10th off road rules look in the BRCA Manuel under 1/10th of road, ALL rules are explained in there, if you still have any questions email a BRCA rep, as listed on the BRCA website > 1/10th off road > contact.

Is that ok?

some one at the weekend at teeside told me that sintered may not be allowed in off road, i have read the book, but its not clear if we can substitute a sintered rotor in a motor that is not supplied with sintered! as you are changing the construction. its also been mentioned on this and other forums with no reply.
ie nosram 6.5 comes none sintered , if i fit a sintered is that legal as its now a hybrid!
Cockerill, why have a forum if all questions need direction of it? especially as this is a BRCA thread??
