What brushless esc's are people fitting in their RB5's? I looked at fitting my GTB last night and it is a very tight fit (has to be wedged into) the chassis.

OK, maybe my question should have been - can I fit a GTB into an RB5?

Lol, you asked what speedos we're using...
No idea but I don't see why not, I know Roger has a Nosram in his and they're a fairly similar size. |

i ran a gtb in mine G. mounted it with the solder tab hanging over the chassis side, away from the cells. It was a squeeze but i never had any issue with it. getting wires under the shell was the only tricky bit!
did you get the bulkhead ok?

Hi Jim,
Thanks. I looked at that but I thought it would mean the pcb is a bit exposed to side impacts and the wet ![]() Yes thanks, fitted it last night - it's great ![]() G

I've had my GTB like this for 8 months but it got Durga'd the other day and damaged the PCB. Still works so going to rotate it with wires pointing rearwards. It's not worth the risk......
