How heavy are you running the S2? At the moment my one is 1630gr, just added 100gr at the back and the car was planted. So 4 lead plates at the back (about 250gr) and 45gr in front of the servo and in the nose.

mine is 1645gr, thats with a lead plate under each lipo, lead weights running the length of the both battery straps (i think 35 or 40 each) and 20 grams in the nose but after a bit of weight distribution maths by captain harris on friday i need to add about another 70 grams to the rear of the car to get it properly ballanced and keep the back end in check.

Only 20gr in the nose? I found the car to be extremely easy to drive and fast with this set-up (astroturf/carpet):
Front: Schumacher Stagger Rib Yellow Silver spring - red piston - 30wt - 2mm limiters Tower position middle - wishbone outside 45gr in bulkhead 1° camber 1° toe out 30° caster Rear: Schumacher Mini Pin Yellow - outer row cut off Red spring - red piston - 25wt - 4mm limiters Tower position inside - wishbone inner 2 lead plates (size of Li-Po) under each saddle pack half 4° toe in - 0° anti-squat 2° camber Spoiler position: high CS 7,5T 23/78 with ESC on 1-2-3-2 |
