Default First Mid South regional is just over three weeks away...

The first BRCA Mid South regional event is now just over three weeks away. We already have 45 entries (30 in the regional class and 15 split between the two open classes) which is more than any round last year, but we still want more!!!

If you are not yet booked in and intend to do this event then get yourself on to the booking in site and get signed up as soon as possible.....

Doors open at 8am, mains will be available through selected points but please do bring 12 volt as a backup (in a container), catering will be available all day with hot and cold, drinks and snacks available from within the hall.

Heres to a good meeting and indeed and good series in both 2wd and 4wd this year in the Mid South

Just a quick question (or two).

What tyres would be suitable and what is the track surface?

Looking forward to racing !!!!

Most popular tyre by far will be the Schumacher Yellow Minipin although dont be alarmed to see a few people runing Yellow Minispike since the grip is VERY high.

The surface is Primafelt carpet for approx 70/80% of the track but there will be some slippery gym floor sections too. We also intend to use some alternative grip levels of carpet in places too to mix things up combined with several ramps/jumps, bot dots, ripple section and maybe more........
