Talking Pinion gear + Losi xxx cr

Guys,

Could some please help me with the following question. I has just bought a 6.5t brushless motor and I was wonder what T pinion gear I use should in my Losi XXX 2wd. I am running a 78t Spur

start small and work up until you've as much top end as you want, maybe as small as a 15.

I run 15/82 or 17/82 generally, sometimes up to 21/82 if open track and always has plenty of beans.

Ill have a look later, ive fitted and forgotten about my motor, that includes forgetting the gearing I think im around 23.

Thanks! Small the better seems to be the key!

spur 78 / 15 pinion * 2.43 internal gear ratio works out to 12.6 Losi recommends 12.5. So pretty close!

I run 78/25 on my losi 6.5, unless it's a bonded rotor you will just cook the motor and speedo on your gearing
