Default Indoor Finals Lack of Competitors/Entries

Hi All
As of today I have a total of 39 entries for each day of the National Indoor Finals event at York on 4/5 April 2009. Clearly if entries stay at this level we will need to cancel the event as the club will lose money as will the caterers for the meeting.
Obviously no-one wants to do this so if you intend going please let your Regional Rep know as soon as possible.
A final decision as to whether the event runs or not will be taken on Monday next and the result posted on oOple.
Regards

Is everyone aware that 2009 Lipo's are permitted?

Think its all about the timing, cost etc. more than the batteries. York is expensive to stay at and with the credit crunch people are a bit more careful

I'm NOT going to disagree that the "credit crunch" will have a little to do with it, but why is it expensive to stay at York?

I can't make it due to money issues.

Can I suggest though for people to car share, and hotel room share. It may be obvious, but it is a way of seriously cutting the costs.

Does it clash with something else, such as an 1/8th meeting?

Could it be held on just Sunday and have 2 classes on one day?
