Default Brushes

Hi

I have a BRM Modified motor and at some point will need new brushes for it. My question is do i have to use BRM brushes or can i just buy some generic ones from and rc shop? I would rather use ones that last as long as possible as it's only for my backup car, but i have no idea what i am looking for

Here are the motors

Sorry if this has been asked before, but searched through all electric posts with the word "brushed" in with no luck.

Thanks

Dave

Hey,

Brushes from any manufacture will work as long as they are the correct size.
If I remember correctly the BRM motors required stand-up brushes.

Anything by Reedy / Orion / BRM will be good.
