Being new to the sport, I have been overwhelmed by how helpful everyone I have met at various meetings have been. Guys give time, knowledge and even parts without making a newby feel like a leaper. The same can not be said for my experience with local shops. (no names, no pack drill!) So let's have your nominations for your favorite dealer (careful!) online store or piece of excellent service you have had from someone you are helping to pay the mortgage! Over to you!

Dominic at DC Racing is a really helpful guy. What sets him apart for me, is that if I order something he doesn;t have in stock - he is honest about how long it takes, and is always fast at completing back orders...
Whereas other popular shops I previously used, well they just send what they hold in stock and loose the back orders. I got really frustrated at one of the popular shops, which is when I switched to Doms shop, and no hassles any more. Thanks Dom. |

Yup i have to agree Chris Dom is a great person most of the time he has what you need and he is good for a laugh and a talk.
http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/oswes...s/oswes45.html Ledgend!! Also Microtechracing is very good for B4 Parts and delivery and customer service is great but they are a bit serious sometimes. But my local Hobby shop(Hobby Corner in Wrexham) are good they dont stock buggy parts but they are good for general stuff and the guys who work there are a right laught. A |

Cleveland Models in Teesside for me. Bought my first car there, an original Schumacher Cougar in the eighties & still get my stuff from Paul Cook there,(So 20 years or so & counting!!). Also he is extremely knowledgeable & has helped with many technical questions over the years, so for me he has been the best for years.
Also at national events John Cockill at Model Images has been a great help. |

Nick at Demon products gets my vote. He has been racing himself for over 20yrs, so knows his stuff. Also he is very helpful and honest (If he thinks something is crap or there is a cheaper product which does the same job he will say so not just take your money) I also find he is realistically priced not just the std RRP like 99% of other shops I could name.
