Removing rounded screws

I've got a stuck screw in my XX any suggestions how to remove it without wrecking my car

If its a hex head, you could try tapping in a torx to get a fresh grip.

Or slot it with a dremel and unscrew it. (might damage the chassis)
Or drill the head off then you can work on the remaining stub.

If you can get in from the other side you can drill it through.

You can buy a screw remover kit that goes into A drill to remove screws

I have just round of the grub screw in my pinion gear, any ideas , my guess is to drill the little bugger out , I am a muppet

Something like this for the pinion:







Or use a large flat screw driver and just prise it off.
(Be careful using the screwdriver method.)

Dremel and slamming a driver in with a hammer eventually did the trick. You know when you start something you wish you hadnt

I did this last year - ended up dremelling a slot in the grub screw - destroyed the pinion but saved the motor which was all I was interested in.
