I understand that you can only use 2.4 Radios with Novak Brushless systems . Is this the case for other manufacturers as I currently still use a sanwa gemini system

A mate is running a Novak brushless Losi 1/8 and he had problems and was advised by Novak that the systems were designed to be used in conjunction with 2.4.
If this is not the case and I could use my sanwa system that would be very good news. |

I know the Novak HV systems can cause problems with AM radios, my E-Revo was basically unusable with the stock AM radio, no problem with 40MHz FM though.

Novak do 2 versions of the GTB, the spread spectrum version is intended for 2.4g systems only I believe.
I have the non spectrum version and it was fine on 40mhz, still fine now I have 2.4g! |

Me and some other have had problems with Novak and 40mhz
Now the system is installed in my 1:12th scale and I don't have it any more. (shorter range I think).
