Default help with radio gear

hey can anyone answer me this i am thinking of buying a sanwa gemini 2 transmitter but the rx311 receiver that comes with it can only work from 4.8-6 volts what would happen if iam using 7.4 volt lipo batteries

The receiver take its power from the speed control, the speed control steps the voltage down to that voltage, make sure your speed control BEC has this, 95% do...........but. Thats also why 6v servos are used by some.

great transmitter for the money.
