Default Worst car you've raced.....

Thought this could be interesting, can't expect everyone to be completely honest if they're sponsored etc, but let's see what you all think the worst car is you've had to drive in the last say... 15 years?

For me i had a couple of bad experiences, one being the RC10 Worlds Car in around 1994 - This was my first 2wd car, and by the time i got it the Losi XX was king of the bumpy grass tracks and made the RC10 seem so out-dated it was a pig to drive on bumpy tracks and i really didn't like it!

2nd up i think had to be the Yokomo MX-4 - I don't think i could ever say i enjoyed racing that car, it was just so heavy and no matter what we all tried, we just couldn't seem to get a good set-up! The prototype cars were certainly a lot better but the production model was so hard to get right.

Anyone have any other cars they've really just not got on with?

original XXX4, it was just toss to drive and didn't go over bumps. I ended up switching to my B4 at a 4WD regional and went faster.

Losi BK2

was hoping for so much, but all it was was a wheelie monster and push machine.
I have had some very good times with Losi cars, but the BK2 not exactly dialled on UK tracks

Some time during the 1990's we had a class for Schumacher Wild cats with touring car bodies.

I dont think very many people here will recognise a wildcat but it was built from two yellow vertical plastic panels spaced apart with plastic rods. There was no diff, just a solid driveshaft and hard rubber tires.
There was no suspension or damping just red glass fiber wishbones that flexed in the turns. I tried to google a picture but I couldnt find one.

The rules of the class were that it had to be raced as out of the box with no upgrades (except bearings) so that meant manual 3 speed mechanical speed controls and standard no grip tires.

With the super flexible chassis, no diff and manual speed control this made this "beginners" class much more difficult than any other. There was no way you could "predict" when the car would spin you just had to learn what the limit was and drive just below it.
Some experienced racers tried to race in this class and gave up as it was so frustrating. I think that electronic ESC may have been allowed later into the series as with the manual one it was too hard.

Although it was very hard to drive racing the wildcat for an indoor series made me a much better driver.

The MF2 and the BK2 are my worst cars raced. Never dialed to a track and always tore up gears in the transmissions.

Just found this thread, Shane your post did make me laugh. My worst in 4wd was a Lazer ZX5, just couldnt get on with it. And in 2wd was Kyosho again with a Maxxum FF, had it way back in 89 and still make me shiver for how bad it was.

Rather suprisingly to most of you is my B4, i just couldn't get running well with it, i even tried a new kit to little avail. I loved my B3 though.

2nd is also the MX4, although it was neigh on impossible to crash it was also impossible to get a fast setup on it, worked well on dirt though....

Thumbs up bad experiance

i started out in 97 in 2wd with a mardave cobra. it seemed ok at first but when you take a car like that to a club or comp, it shows how bad a cobra really is when you got a b2, b3 or a losi cr going passed you either side and you are heading somewhere off the track!
my 4wd experiance was with a YZ10. i really dont know why i could not get it to run tidy on a bumpy grass track, i was told it was one of the best 4wd cars at that time...may be not?
well 11 years on i drive a losi xxx cr and a pred x10 wich is now a x-11 hybrid. all great cars and no bad words to say.
