Default My Collection

Peaky mentioned i should post a thread of my cars, so hear they are. All are race cars, not sat on shelf cars like some of the pristine examples on here, but bring fond memories. My lack of car building skills probably mean they will stay like this, but at least i managed to convert the yr-f2 back to it's former self after my dad converted it to pull a trailer

Yokomo YR-F2 Special (My Dads) Looks like it's got some alloy hop ups

Yokomo 93WCS (apparently) Some experts on here tell me it's the rare 93WCS, all i know i never liked racing the thing, felt big and slow to me . Picture of the parts or what i believe are the standard parts that my dad must have swapped for the carbon ones.

Losi XX My favorite ever car, many wins with this baby, lots of graphite and alloy as you can see, not sure if it's a CR i know we tried the CR bit at one stage but i think we took them off again as didn't like the changes.

Corally F1 Another fun car to drive, as you can see by the number on it, a number of wins with this baby, putting a 10x2 in it and watching it skip down the straight was awsome

Schumacher Mission (i think) Not sure if this was even my dads or not, but kept it as it all works and i can test stuff in it

predator streetwise

Always wanted a pred but the buggies are too expensive so got this. Pretty happy with it obviously prefer a buggy but still has the cool shocks and is in good condition

Looking good Daz nice collection, you need to sort that yoke out get the right inder tray and front bumper and it will look so much better. That graphite top deck is off a 91/92 nothing to do with the car

Yeah was looking at bumpers but I'm worried if I start unscrewing stuff it will all fall apart

Is this the correct one? Only seem to be able to find ones from Oz

The 93WCS was the 94 prototype basically but yours has been converted to a 94 anyway.

Peaky my man, some questions.

I've come to fit the undertray today and it seems miles too wide, the shell no where near fits and it doesn't look like the picture you posted. Not sure which bit needs trimming and how it will make any difference to the width.

It's also close the the motor i assume i need to remove that?

The old under tray was attached with with 2 screws right at the front, then w more underneath at the front then 4 at the back, the screws don't look original i assume it's best to just stick em back in?

Some pics below will hopefully show what i mean

Dude your car is giving me the shakes!!! Missing screws and wrong parts 😫 If you want to send it to me I will gladly strip, clean and rebuild it for you. As for the undertray if you look at the left rear side of mine the edge has been cut away from the bottom so it moves giving the clearance for the body. It is the right tray as the others won't fit Cus they were for different chassis.

I'm thinking of putting and 8.5 motor in my Losi is this too hot ( think I may have asked this before but can't find it) if not what pinion is it OK to use the same pinion chart as my 22 3.0 or should I be going lower

22 pinion in 3.0 manual had a 17 pinion on the brushed Motor that was in it

Do you have the hydra drive? If yes use that and should be spot on with that motor. Im unsure on ratios though.
