Anyone know of a charger thatn can charge a 4900 or 5400 rate at 2C (which trakpower claim is fine for the first 95% of the charge on their lipo packs).
Even the Bantam 6c which is fairly pricey has a max of 6.8 amps, whereas a 5400 at 2C requires 10.8 amps! Trakpowers own charger is limited to 5 amps as are most others I've seen. |

This is close, topping out at 10A:

Thanks for the link. Reading that, its dawning on me that the limit is possibly power supplies here as the bantam is only 5amps from its internal 240 supply. I guess a 30A power supply is going to cost > 100 quid itself.
So back to the drawing board on this one ![]() |

why would you want to charge at 2c???!!! A 4900 or 5400 would last 2 runs without charge inbetween easy in a 4wd and you should have plenty of time to top up inbetween runs...? Charging at 2c isnt going to have any real benfits... more likely to have an accident!

theres really no need to charge at that rate or waste money on chargers/power supplies, 1c is fine dude especially if just bashing, from near flat it only takes around an hour to get a full charge that will last ages...
just get another lipo if you want more runtime... would be less costly
