I am currently putting the td2-4 together, and although it has not turned a wheel yet - I am super impressed with the quality of the kit and parts supplied.
Everything went together super sweet, and the supplied parts feel every bit as quality as many kits. The 3D printed parts feels very strong and have a nice finish to them. The kit looks well on the bench and the geometry looks right. I was not expecting the kit to be of such high quality - but it is ![]() The design is elegant and much less fussy than the Durango offering, it just feels well thought through and optimised - as opposed to an array of holes so you can try a million combinations of layout to try and get it to work. Personally i'm only interested in 'the' layout that does work - and other cars follow a similar layout - so fingers crossed. Instructions and setup sheets are easy to follow and the whole thing came largely pre assembled - just bolt on each end. Looking forward to finishing the kit when my electrics arrive. |

Not sure - the designer would need to answer that one - what I can tell you - on my car - if I pick it up but the spur gear cover it feels quite level in terms of weight balance - but I only have a short servo in mine.
