Hello
Can anyone suggest a servo saver that fits the Schumacher Cougar KF2 SE. I have bought one already and it doesn't fit the space available, and I do not want to have to keep changing servo gears! Any help appreciated! Thanks Graham |

Keen to know also. I modified a Tamiya high torque one. Works fine, but you do need to grind some of the top bulkhead for clearance. I suspect you would have to do this for any decent servo saver...

get a good quality, strong servo, never run a servo saver since the sv, and never done a servo, and I crash well

Yeah I tried that, I have a Savox 1252mg with a set of really nice smooth gears in it...

The low profile savox servos do strip gears easy - I've ran the 1256/57/58 in all my cars and never stripped a servo gear in any of those servos but the one meeting I did with the yz2 and a 1251 I stripped the gears with an innocuous crash so out that came and the trusty 1257 went back in

as I said get a decent strong servo, the 1251/1252 is a touring car servo and not strong enough for a buggy

Ah OK
So perhaps the servo change then? Any recommendations would be very helpful. I see in the thread we have 1256/57/58 and the KO servos. Funny as I was going to get a KO one and plumped for the savox, seems that was my flaw! Thanks Graham |
