Default xx4 bulkhead black or white ?

I have some front bulkheads in my parts box with the same part number (1201)

one is black one is white - are these the same thing ?

Nuh, the white one is more durable, it's alot more flexable and will last longer. The black one is just standard plastic/graphite i believe and was changed to the white version after lots of breakages.

it depends which black ones you have

gen 1 were replaced foc by losi because they shattered big style

gen 2 were near impossible to break but after a few meetings needed changing because the hingepin hole stretched big enough to fit your finger in (ok a bit of an exageration but you get the point).

gen3 white in colour - half way between the 2 will break with a big enough impact but lasts much longer before needing to be replaced due to slop

white one is the one to have, black one is very brittle and not worth bothering with.
