LMP12 Contact tyres

So I can buy ones with white wheels at £3-4 a pair or ones with black wheels for around £7 a pair. Can get in same shore rating but different rubber I understand.

Been running the whites ones at the the last couple of club meetings I have done and seem ok but keep eying up the black ones with the suspision they must be better/quicker because they are more expensive right?

Anyone run both?
