How to tell a brushless wind

Probably should know this, but what's the best way to work out a brushless wind?

It'll be written on the box/packet the motor comes in

if that's not available, and there's no stickers on the motor (for example)

What motor? The Novaks usually have it written on under the Purple/Blue ring.

it should be stamped on the can somewhere

it's a novak. nothing stamped on the can itself though.

Take it in bits and look under the centre ring
