Hi Guys,
I've got a YZ2 that I've built up and not yet raced. You're my local club and I've been wanting to come down for a while and get racing but have been having a mare setting up my servo/steering in this car. I've gone through the manual and still no joy. Hoping someone in the know can spare 10 minutes to set me in the right direction? Thanks in advance |

I had the same issues (servo horn at an angle I take it and the you can't get the right throw with the radio travel?)
I fixed mine by adding 3mm of washers between the steering link ball cups and with a centered horn it was ok then

You reckon 3mm will do it? Also someone told me to cut the standard wheels down to get staggers on the front? Is that right? |

Hi that's correct re cutting the rims as you mount them on the inside bead. We're there tomorrow night, bring all you bits if you can make it and we'll help you sort it out.

3mm and using the larger servo horn is enough. Can't go much more as it's an m3 thread abd only 15mm long and you need 6mm thread to prevent them stripping out in a crash.
If it still hits the steering rack on full lock you can probably add a 1mm washer under the ball stud the steering servo link fits to to raise it a bit more

If your struggling please come along and someone will be able to help, it's much easier to help when you can see the problem in real life and understand what's being done to solve it.
