Hi all, I bought a tm2 v1 some time ago and ran it once or twice but never really liked it. I recently rebuilt it and changed the setup quite a lot and decided to run it. It was very very good on our local carpet track where I normally race. I was shocked too see how fast it actually was and how easy it was to be fast with. My question is this......
Is the v2 any better and worth buying ?. I have little experience of the hybrid style cars and wondered if I would actually notice any difference in terms of handling and overall pace over the v1. Can anyone tell me in which ways the car has been improved in terms of handling etc. thanks all. |

There was no belt in my car at the National and I qualified 6th in the A-main with the TM2v2. Could have been higher had it not been for a few school boy errors.
I never raced the V1, but can honestly say the V2 is fantastic. So much forward traction for a front motor shaft car, but with the nice predictable steering of a 2wd. I've been told V2 is more responsive, maybe slightly harder to drive due to the shorter chassis but faster once you get the hang of it. Great car in my opinion and you would not be disappointed. There is no V3 car from Team C at this current time.
Some people have tried their own version which they have made themselves, purely just to see what it's like, but this is nothing to do with Team C. The TM2v2 has only been out for just over a year and is the current car of choice on high grip. I've only been with the team since October last year and find the TM2v2 awesome, along with the other cars and Absima electrics. Craig Collinson. |
