Default TB Evo V MS

Has anyone any experience of this Tamiya shaft drive car? I think it was released in the summer, not sure it sold well at all, but thinking of getting a tourer to run at my local club and thought something different might be cool!

Anyone who's tried this one, what did you think to the car?

I am running the TB-03 (plastic version of the MS) and it is fast but in 10.5, I am really suffering Torque steer.

I run Evo 4 and Evo 5 on wood track and have had quite a lot of problems trying to get the proverbial torque steer sorted; so far I have resorted on letting the car slow down for bends on its own rather than use the brakes which is annoying as lap times suffer. The alternative being to keep the power on the drive and steer earlier causing a power drift round the bends which takes a lot of practice and is dangerous if other cars are on the bend at the same time cos your more than likely to sideswipe them.
My personal advice would be to get either a TA05 or TRF415 / TRF416 and enjoy your self without torque steer M8

The evo's are more for stock or 23t racing. I would also suggest the ta05 / trf cars

Or if you want something a little different get the ta05ms

Recommend the 415/416 they go well at our club on a wooden surface. 10.5 brushless
