tx for small hands (4 years old)

Any ideas? Would like epa and expo adjustment. Thinking sanwa mx-v at the moment.

set my kids off on steering wheels as the future is cheeper than sticks and you can get some great specs at a good price, the one thing I found is I had to put some large fuel tube on the break side of the trigger as the gap is huge for little fingers and their finger is to short to push the trigger away for breaks/reverse, the fuel tube is great as it closes the gap up nicely. Also buy a smaller set to start off with as a huge heavy set with drop down etc they struggle with holding the set up and operating the throttle at the same time.

son uses spectrum at the min, can't remember the model but it has everything you need for about the £100 mark, and it has taken a few careless drops

Thanks Mick and racingdwarf, ive just been to try a couple. The sanwa mxv and the cheapest futaba. Both had quite chunky handles but he could reach to pull the thottle ok.

I think ill do as you say with fuel tube and maybe just use drag brake for now.

Does your spectrum have interchangeable grips?

Spektrum DX3c is a great starter Tx, in fact it does everything you really need for a long time. I've got both my kids on them and they manage no problem. not as young as 4, but 5 is fine. Agree reverse is a slight problem, but kids just want to go forwards at that age.

The other advantage is they are light so they can hold them no problem.

I think your right on the dx3c. Looks like the handle grip can be changed too. Thanks for help.
