Default will I notice any difference if i upgrade transmitter?

im just wondering if i will notice a difference if i upgrade transmitter....

i have a sanwa gemini stick transmitter ( 20 yrs old but modded to 2.4ghz ) it works fine, no range issues or binding problems.... i dont really use any of the settings on it apart from the steering adjustment travel nob so i can limit the steering travel from buggy to my shortcourse......so im quite happy.....

but i want to know if i did upgrade to a new sanwa or ko etc will i notice any difference/improvement with the sticks .... so for example when moving the steering stick left to right with the new technology is it somehow smoother or more accurate or better in some way when controlling the steering servo? and same for the throttle stick? will i notice any difference?

i realise this may be a stoopid question, i know there are loads of features the new transmitters have, but i ave no experience of them, so i guess i dont miss them, so im more interested in the basics of the stick movement etc......just im imagining there may be something im missing out on.... or perhaps nothing and sticking with the converted sanwa i have is just as good?

any help advice appreciated!

model memory is very handy. means you dont have to keep changing your trims and endpoints for each car.

Some settings are handy but I don't use many in my exzes X.

Transmitter comes down to how comfortable it is when holding it and the length of the sticks etc. I recently changes from KO to Sanwa and it took a bit of getting used too. I had to dremel the transmitter in a few places as I found it uncomfortable to hold.

It's all personal preference.

Default ah

ah yes cool... i like the idea of model memory, but i can cope without.... and im well used to the feel of my sanwa .... ( its just a boxy kind of thing, not very ergonomic at all ) its just on the teccy side of things im wondering more about the stick movement / signal sending / accuracy if the new tech is any better or different?

yes in response time. its not just about usability and tuning features on the handset.

I was running a Ko esprit 3 with frsky module, which i thought was great until i upgraded to a sanwa exzes X with a selection of high response receivers. The difference in speed of response is very noticeable.
Can you try someone elses to see? even a few mins in practice will give you a good feel for it.
