Hi All,
Can anyone help with which lipo battery to get to fit in a Cougar 2000/95 team with the xpc chassis. I would love to run this old car again but I think the battery set up was designed for nicads stick or saddle pack. Just wondered if anyone still uses this buggy and what battery they use which will fit in the chassis without any modification? ![]() |

Hi, think lipos are standard sizes? im running saddle lipo in my 95 team. not sure what the xpc chassis is though? if it helps i took the nicad tray out and put a layer of foam in the bottom and then cut down the top of a battery strap thing so it was flat on one side and that hold the battery in securely. would think this would work fine for normal 2000 as well. batteries are a bit snug but secure.

Thanks Chris24jt, The xpc was the extra pitch control chassis upgrade from the standard 2000 to the 95 spec. It was slightly longer and had the side pods removed to allow for the upswept undertray. Think I will have to take some lipo dimensions and make a tem-plate out of wood and check how they fit in the chassis before purchasing.

There are lipo packs shaped like a 6 cell stickpack. If your car accepts a stickpack, these LiPos should fit.

A lipo the same shape as a 6 cell stick pack should fit perfectly.
