Default how long are lap top batteries on average supposed to last?
My laptops been on charger nfor the best part of the day and ive had it on for about an hour off charger and its down at 23% life, is this normal

what is the power saving set at ? mine last 5 to 6 hours on the power saving mode, plus it depends what you are doing as wifi drains it as does watching video and stuff.

Stupid Question, how do you check power saving?
Ive been listening to a bit of music every now and then and ive mostly been on oople or ebay.

click on the battery icon or go into control panel then power saving.

also the having the brightness set to high will zap your battery life
