All
Finally completed building my Sx and noticed that the front belt touches/very close to the servo case. Has any else noticed this? I must admit, I think it is predominately down to the front being v.loose, (kit settings). Thanks Paul

Are you running the nimh version as my belt was very slack on the kit setting but now i have adapted it to run lipo and fitted the roller bearing its fine.

yeah i never had a problem with it when i ran it with the cells, no belt skip or rubbing anywere

In the manual the belt setting is same for Lipo/Nimh (with/without roller). The belt on the Nimh car at this setting seems right, Lipo car with roller needs to be one notch looser than manual suggests.
As for the closeness of belt, never seen it, id be tempted to buy the roller from the Lipo car and fit it if unsure. |
