Thought you would be interested in seeing the new Tamiya HL dampers. These will come as a set 42132 is the front, and 42133 are the rear. When you buy them, you will only get the damper cylinder, not the whole damper.

These are the ones Hupo was using at the Euros this year then? Is there a technical explanation of the coatings?

We don't have the official description for the coating, but it appears it is a koshima coating, which is like a teflon coating, for smoother and more consitant damper action. They are also coming out with competition o-rings at the same time which are said to be made of a rubber that resists expanding, again for more consitant dampers.
I do believe these were the ones Hupo and other factory driver had been using perviously. Should be out the end of the month or early December. Pricing MSRP is $25USD front and $27USD rear per Tamiya USA pricing. In Europe, I have no idea. Oh and of course there will be touring car cylinders and mini cylinders as well for on road. |

can you sell to the UK, as the likelyhood of Hobby Co stocking them is very very slim?

Tamiya USA cannot sell directly to you as we are limited by Tamiya Japan to only the U.S. market as to not interfere with the other agents and distributors they have established. We cannot even sell to Canada!
