Yes, its another one of those "this or that" threads again. I have decided to have a change from the old B4 as I can't really get on with it. Don't know if its a lack of weight (I run LiPo) or just my driving "style" but I don't seem to be able to get the corners right. The back end always seems to have a mind of its own. I'm don't have a natural "chuck it in and boot it" style so perhaps this is where I am going wrong.
I'm considering a Losi XXX-CR or an RB5 but don't really know which way to go. I've seen that the RB5 is quite a porker but this could be a good thing. The popularity of the XXX-CR seems to have dropped right off this year - are they really that old-hat? Any opinions? I have already considered an X6 but don't want to go there yet 'cos I am tight and try to get everything second hand if I can. |

you could always just buy the x6 conversion kit instead of a whole x6 if you already have a b4, it will probably be cheaper than buying a whole car like the rb5 or xxxcr, not going to start a 'this is is better...

RB5 is a good car. handles like a B4 with a stable rear end!
support should be better this year also with Woody and a few others running the cars

Sorry, I should have mentioned, I sold my B4 so an X6 is not the logical step without busting my budget.

On how you have found the B4 and what you are looking for in your next car.... I would say an RB5 all the way
