Default Lipo balance leads

Got a Lipo balance charger coming that doesn't come with the balance lead itself, where can you buy them from? It's for the SMC style of Lipo packs http://www.smc-racing.com/lightning_volts.html not the Trakpower style.

Cheers.

Dan

Packs list TP style connector = Thunder Power

you have to match that to your charger/balancer socket which may be Align, Hyperion or Astro, FMA or Thunder Power if you are lucky. plugs/sockets may have other names which is helpful

selection here: http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/inde...page=3&sort=1a

Here they like to call them taps: http://www.rclipos.com/Accessories.htm has good visuals & descriptions, should be able to glean something from these, which charger/balancer will you be using.

Thanks chaps, charger arrived last night but no cells yet. If I'm lucky the port on the charger will match the lead on the cells and all is well. If not I'll do one of the above!

Its a B6 charger by the way.

Mark - The products page on the Trakpower site doesn't work for me on either work or home computer, and hasn't worked for a few weeks. Is it just me or is it down? Other pages on site seem to work.

My BC6 has a single Align socket, but cannot plug 2S connector directly in, needs a cable/adapter lead, our B6 (and there is a few with this number) has a range of Align sockets, so 2S battery can connect directly (if same plug).

I am thinking you will need an Align male (depending on charger) to TP female.

I would suggest changing the battery balance connector - but plugs to fit yourself are difficult to find, but should be as simple as an receiver plug.
